Clear information.
Confident decisions.
Understand what to ask about funding, prices and service agreements before you start support.
How is your funding managed?
Your NDIS funding may be self-managed, managed by a plan manager, managed by the NDIA, or use a combination. The way your funding is managed affects how providers are paid and which provider rules apply.
Tell us how the relevant support is managed so we can discuss whether our services and billing arrangements are suitable for you.

Questions to ask about costs
- What is the rate for the support I need?
- Are travel, non-face-to-face work or other charges relevant?
- Do rates change on weekends or public holidays?
- What happens if I cancel or need to change a visit?
- How will I receive and check invoices?
Ask for a written explanation tailored to your arrangements. Funding in a plan does not automatically mean every service or expense can be claimed.
Know what you are agreeing to.
A service agreement records the support and expectations agreed with your provider. Read it carefully, request changes where needed and ask for information in a format you understand. You can involve someone you trust.
